Getting to Know the Blogger: Who are you?

Hi, I’m Holly. As far as who I am I guess you could go on and on about that. I live in the United States, and I like lists more than I probably enjoy the subject matter the list even deal with. Not to say the subject matter isn’t interesting I just have a fascination with random list, and completing them. So that may help to explain why at times this blog just reads like a huge list. I am even getting all these blogger questions for me from a huge list.

Probably, the thing that most defines who I am is a follower of Christ. It’s something I’ve had to continually work at to this day, and will beyond. My theological views tend to fall into Calvinism, which is pretty much the branch that most seem to want to avoid being associated with unless you are also someone who leans toward that theology. I currently substitute teach, and while there are days I do love it, there are many more days it leaves me quite exhausted. I have a boyfriend, and I’m very happy with that relationship. I also am the oldest of 3 siblings. I avoid any being too heavily summed up by one political party, but probably am most closely attached to being a libertarian.

A bit more about me though, I play guitar sometimes, but haven’t near as much as I like. I have a fascination with the eras of the 50s and 80s, but the 20s, and 30s seem to be catching on with me as two times that interest me also. I do photography more than most of my other interests, though maybe not as much as blogging. The majority of pictures like the one you see above are taken by me. I like listening to music though I’m quite picky about what I listen to. I’ve also grown more interested in movies, and have always loved reading books. I fall very heavily into thriving off being a creative.

What I most importantly want people to know I am is that I am a follower of Christ. It is the most consistent thing about me since I was a kid. Of course, you have your days, but I’ve never given up on my faith. I’m a bit artsy, and I like lists. I’ve always been an avid reader, and I listen to whatever music that I want to listen to. Movies is a new interest for me, and the 1001 thing has deeply grew my interest in it.
